Channels
The channels suggested for the website are Search Engine Optimization, Paid Search/Paid Per Click Advertising, Promotion/PR, Display Advertising, Social Media and Viral Marketing, E-Mail, and Affiliate Marketing. It wouldn't be required for me to use all channels for digital marketing, but if I didn't use one of the suggested channels for digital marketing plan I would have to explain why I wouldn't want to use the channel. Possibly I should use all channels for the digital marketing plan, so I wouldn't have to explain why I wouldn't use the channel for the digital marketing plan.
I believe the most desirable channel for the digital marketing plan would be Paid Per Click Adverting. The most necessary channels for the digital marketing plan would be Search Engine Optimization, Display Advertising, E-Mail and Affiliate Marketing. I would not exclude Social Media and Viral Marketing as a channel for digital marketing. I think Social Media and Viral Marketing would be useful channels for my digital marketing plan. I'm willing to assume out of all the channels Social Media and Viral Marketing may be the channel I could afford to exclude in my digital marketing plan. I would definitely need Search Engine Optimization and Display Advertising for my digital marketing plan. All channels will be used for my digital marketing plan. More channels will create more word of mouth among users of the Internet. I think all channels will help me fulfill my goals in my digital marketing plan.
Campaign Budget
I think my campaign budget for the digital marketing plan would be one million dollars. I think there are seven main channels for the digital marketing plan. I would like to divide one million dollars into seven to devote $143,000.00 into each channel. I think my digital marketing plan would focus most on Search Engine Optimization. I don't think I would use maximum focus on E-Mail and Affiliate Marketing. I think a small percentage of the digital marketing plan would be devoted to E-Mail and Affiliate Marketing. I may devote a maximum of 40% to the Social Marketing and Viral Marketing to my digital marketing plan. I don't think I would manage all the channels. I may hire an advertising executive team to manage all channels.
Campaign Duration
I would believe my campaign duration would be an ongoing process. I would not believe the duration of my campaign could be timed within a year or a month of time. I would think the campaign duration would be an ongoing process. The Viral Marketing may not take more than a year of time. I believe the Viral Marketing depends on the purpose of the digital marketing plan. Some viral marketing plans may only take half a year. Maybe some would take a year of time. I think the campaign duration of the digital marketing plan would be an ongoing process that would have no time limit.
