Key Indicators Performance Target

The objective of the business plan for Three Wise Ships Studios is to develop a successful digital marketing plan using specific channels to target consumers that will lead to abundant sales and profits. All the channels will contribute to the marketing key performance indicators of Three Wise Ships Studios. Search Engine Optimization will contribute to the key performance indicators of web browsing among Internet Users of consumers buying movies of Three Wise Ships Studios. Paid search or paid per click advertising will contribute to the financial key performance indicators of Three Wise Ship Studios. Promotion and PR advertising will contribute marketing and production key performance indicators of Three Wise Ships Studios. E-mail and affiliate marketing will contribute to key performance indicators of sales. All channels will contribute to the key performance indicators of sales, marketing, production, purchasing and fiance.

Metrics

Three Wise Ships Studios may need software metrics to evaluate the performance of the channels used to evaluate key performance indicators of the digital marketing plan. The software metrics will be able to evaluate performance metrics of planning, organizing, control and improvement of the channels used for the digital marketing plan of Three Wise Ships Studios.

The Value of Conversion

There should be an explanation to the value of conversion. I would need to understand how to convert different key performance indicators of the digital marketing plan to create sales and profits for Three Wise Ships Studios. Modern technology is able to provide value calculators to make the process of converting different key performance indicators of the digital marketing plan easy. Otherwise mathematical formulas for the value of conversion is able to calculate key performance indicators of the digital marketing plan.   

The Cost of Conversion

The budget was one million dollars. I wanted to divide one million dollars into five channels. Each channel would have $200,000.00 in the digital marketing budget plan. I would need to calculate the value of acquiring a customer by the total cost of the advertising campaign by the number of conversions to the the cost of the conversion.

Changes in the Digital Marketing Plan

Whatever changes I may do in the digital marketing plan will probably be just in the general research of conducting a digital marketing plan. I think I would just want to improve my methods of conducting research for a digital marketing plan of my business plan Three Wise Ships Studios productions.

Week Three Media Plan

Channels

The channels suggested for the website are Search Engine Optimization, Paid Search/Paid Per Click Advertising, Promotion/PR, Display Advertising, Social Media and Viral Marketing, E-Mail, and Affiliate Marketing. It wouldn't be required for me to use all channels for digital marketing, but if I didn't use one of the suggested channels for digital marketing plan I would have to explain why I wouldn't want to use the channel. Possibly I should use all channels for the digital marketing plan, so I wouldn't have to explain why I wouldn't use the channel for the digital marketing plan.

I believe the most desirable channel for the digital marketing plan would be Paid Per Click Adverting. The most necessary channels for the digital marketing plan would be Search Engine Optimization, Display Advertising, E-Mail and Affiliate Marketing. I would not exclude Social Media and Viral Marketing as a channel for digital marketing. I think Social Media and Viral Marketing would be useful channels for my digital marketing plan. I'm willing to assume out of all the channels Social Media and Viral Marketing may be the channel I could afford to exclude in my digital marketing plan. I would definitely need Search Engine Optimization and Display Advertising for my digital marketing plan. All channels will be used for my digital marketing plan. More channels will create more word of mouth among users of the Internet. I think all channels will help me fulfill my goals in my digital marketing plan.


Campaign Budget

I think my campaign budget for the digital marketing plan would be one million dollars. I think there are seven main channels for the digital marketing plan. I would like to divide one million dollars into seven to devote $143,000.00 into each channel. I think my digital marketing plan would focus most on Search Engine Optimization. I don't think I would use maximum focus on E-Mail and Affiliate Marketing. I think a small percentage of the digital marketing plan would be devoted to E-Mail and Affiliate Marketing. I may devote a maximum of 40% to the Social Marketing and Viral Marketing to my digital marketing plan. I don't think I would manage all the channels. I may hire an advertising executive team to manage all channels.



Campaign Duration


I would believe my campaign duration would be an ongoing process. I would not believe the duration of my campaign could be timed within a year or a month of time. I would think the campaign duration would be an ongoing process. The Viral Marketing may not take more than a year of time. I believe the Viral Marketing depends on the purpose of the digital marketing plan. Some viral marketing plans may only take half a year. Maybe some would take a year of time. I think the campaign duration of the digital marketing plan would be an ongoing process that would have no time limit.

Business Plan Week Two Goals and Objectives

Objective

The objective of the digital media plan of Three Wise Ships Studios to create successful sales and promotions using the internet. Web browsers are the main source of the digital media plan of Three Wise Ships Studios Productions. Understanding how to use web browsers for sales, marketing and promotions is the objective of Three Wise Ships Studios Productions.


Goals

The goals of the digital marketing plan of Three Wise Ships Studios are ambitious. There are three digital marketing goals to Three Wise Ships Studios. The first goal of Three Wise Ships Studios is develop the Internet film production division of Three Wise Ship Studios. The second goal is to develop the general business website of Three Wise Ships Studios. The third goal is the advertising and marketing of Three Wise Ships Studios online through popular web browsers such as  Internet Explorer, Safari, and Firefox.

There need to be three different divisions to achieve these goals. There needs to be an executive team managing the internet film production division of Three Wise Ships Studios that is separate from the studio film division of Three Wise Ships Studios. There needs to be a management team directing the general business website of Three Wise Ships Studios. There needs to be a marketing team managing the advertising and marketing of Three Wise Ship Studios on the Internet. The advertising and marketing division of Three Wise Ships Studio will create the social networking sites on MySpace, Facebook and Twitter. The management team directing the general business website will also manage the social networking sites of Three Wise Ships Studios. The advertising and marketing team division of Three Wise Ships Studios will do all the brain work in advertising Three Wise Ships Studios online.



Key Performance Indicators 

The marketing Key Performance Indicator is the focus of Three Wise Ships Studios. The marketing key performance indicator involves public relations, promotions, advertising and e-marketing. The public relations KPI is all media press releases of Three Wise Ships Studios. The promotion KPI is all the sales and promotions of Three Wise Ships Studios. Advertising KPI will analyze the target audiences and level of awareness of product. E-Marketing KPI will check the pay per click on web pages, number of view on web pages and the rate of new visitors. The KPI of the digital plan will involve all areas of marketing key performance indicators



Target 

The target of the KPI should include the marketing, sales, productions, purchasing and financial key performance indicators of Three Wise Ships Studios. Marketing should include public relations and adverting. Sales would include customer service. Productions would include productivity and management. Purchasing should include quantity and quality of purchasing unites and transaction cost. Finance should include payrolls of Three Wise Ships Studios.  

The target of the campaign should include the target audience and the target sales from productions, marketing and purchasing. Three Wise Ships Studios needs to have a successful sales and promotion campaign on the internet to have a successful digital marketing plan.

Business Plan Exercise Week One

Business Model

Three Wise Ships Studios Productions is a film production company that shall explore the internet to produce, create, promote and profit from media entertainment content. Producing media entertainment online is highly experimental. Different genres of film and entertainment possibly may be created through the usage of the Internet. Models of film production that may not produce or profit well with traditional studio models may produce or profit well online.  The internet shall serve for "underground" entertainment in film production for Three Wise Ships Studios Productions.

Different types of Advertising are used to create profits for Three Wise Ships Studios such as Google marketing adverting, Broadcasting advertising, and celebrity adverting. Major corporations shall serve as sponsors for media entertainment content produced by Three Wise Ship Studios Productions. Similar forms advertising to produce profits for television and radio companies are desirable methods of producing profits for Three Wise Ships Studios Productions. Celebrities may advertise for Three Wise Ship Studios if the famous actor or actress is involved in a film produced by Three Wise Ship Studios Productions. Pay Per Click advertising will be the most direct form of profits produced online for Three Wise Ships Studios Productions.

Three Wise Ships Studios is a traditional film production company that distributes movies in theater markets and home video outlets. Generally creating a distribution film production model online is a digital marketing method for Three Wise Ships Studio productions that will use advertising methods like Google marketing to create profits.


Competition


Hula is a home entertainment distribution company that allows internet users to watch television programs and movies online though Hula doesn't produce any original content. Hula solely distributes movies and television programs online that have been produced by competitors such as Universal Studios, Warner Brothers and Columbia Pictures. Hula distribution model is a desirable method for Three Wise Ship Studios to produce, create, promote and profit from entertainment media online. Crackle is a competitor of Hula that also distributes original shows, top movies and television programs. Hula and Crackle have distribution models that Three Wise Ships Studios would like to copy and model to distribute original movies and television programs.


The industry of internet television and movies should either remain the same or grow due to the fact digital marketing online is growing in popularity. Google marketing adverting and sponsorships from major corporations should help Three Wise Ships Studios online remain free for anyone that has access to the internet. Hula and Crackle are free to anyone with access to the internet.



Consumer

Our consumers are world wide to all democratic countries that have access to the internet. Some countries are known for censoring content on the internet. All content produced from Three Wise Ship Studios are available to countries that do not censor any entertainment media content distributed on the internet. Our consumers is a general audience of all ages and lifestyles. Some entertainment content may be distributed to families. Some entertainment content may be targeted to college aged students. Some entertainment content may be targeted to professional adult classes. Overall the goal of Three Wise Ship Studios is to produce, create and distribute entertainment content that achieves critical acclaim and popularity. Three Wise Ships Studios shall distribute entertainment to any consumer that appreciates movie film productions.
